Dear friends,

We pray that you are experiencing a blessed start to 2012! It is such a pleasure to write to you and let you know about some of the things the Lord has been doing through Commandment 11 Ministries over the last year. It’s hard to believe that 2011 has come and gone, but we are so grateful for the countless men and women who made decisions to follow Jesus Christ. We spent over 165 days on the road last year and more than 50% of that time was spent sharing the gospel in prisons and rehab centers. We praise God for the opportunities he has given us to serve him in settings that are so ripe for the gospel!

Many of you have read on our website or on our Facebook page about the season of transition that we are currently going through. Philip Robinson came off the road in January and began working full-time at his church in Rock Hill, SC. Phil has been traveling in ministry for over 20 years, and God opened up an incredible opportunity for him to serve in a wonderful church. This will allow him to be at home on a regular basis with his wife and 3 children. Our board of directors supports Phil completely in his calling to pastoral ministry and is eternally grateful for his contributions to this work over the past seven years. Lord willing, he will still make occasional appearances with Commandment 11 as schedules allow.

Please continue to pray for us as Commandment 11 continues to fulfill the vision and purpose the Lord has laid on our hearts for this ministry. Our schedule is beginning to fill up with opportunities to share the gospel in prisons and rehab centers across the country in 2012. The need is great, but the gospel message we carry is greater! Many of you met Moses Andrews and Manning Paul when they toured with us last summer. They will be joining me again this year on select weekends and also over their spring and summer breaks. Please welcome them and any other new members that the Lord may lead to the ministry in the upcoming year. I know they will appreciate your encouragement.

There are several areas in which we covet your prayers. We are currently working on a new CD and hope that it will be released by late spring. God has given us some challenging new material to share, and we are excited for you to hear it, especially those we minister to behind bars and in recovery. We are also still in need of a new vehicle to travel in. Our 2000 Ford van now has over 308,000 miles on it. Please pray with us that we will raise the necessary funds to purchase a new vehicle that is dependable and able to accommodate the needs of our growing ministry.

I am so grateful for those of you who have come alongside us over the years and for the friendships we have made. We are so thankful for your prayerful and financial support and hope that it will continue in 2012. We pray that you will join with us this year as we strive to “press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus” (Phil 3:14). We hope to see you soon!

In His Service,
